BOLD SOUTHWESTERN MODERNIST STERLING SILVER DENIM LAPIS RING

This substantial handmade sterling southwest ring features a large rectangular denim lapis lazuli stone with rich royal blue color and characteristic golden pyrite flecks, flanked by applied silver raindrops and decorated with traditional thunderbird and arrow stampwork on the wide tapered band. • MATERIALS: Sterling silver, natural denim lapis lazuli, 10 grams • ERA: Vintage, circa 1970s-1980s • MAKER/MARKS: handmade, unmarked • MEASUREMENTS: Size 8 3/4, stone measures approximately 1/2" x 5/8" (1.3 x 1.6 cm), band width tapers from approximately 3/4" at top to 1/4" at back (1.9 to 0.6 cm) • CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with normal wear consistent with age. Denim lapis stone is secure in bezel setting with excellent color saturation and natural pyrite inclusions. Silver shows age-appropriate patina that enhances the stamped design elements. Applied raindrop accents intact. Minor surface scratches on band from use. No damage, stone chips, or repairs.
